Wisconsin vs. Purdue preview:

Wisconsin is in line to win the Big Ten West and have a chance to knock off either Michigan, Penn State, and Ohio State for a spot in the College Football Playoff. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. The Badgers need to win their final two games against Purdue and Minnesota. After starting the season with four straight wins, Wisconsin dropped a pair of seven-point losses to Michigan and Ohio State in the middle of the season. The Badgers have bounced back and enter this contest on a four-game win streak.

Purdue started the season 3-2, with wins over Eastern Kentucky, Nevada, and Illinois. The bad news for the Boilermakers? They have lost five straight games, all by at least 13 points. Purdue is in last place in the Big Ten West, and it likely won’t move up in the conference standings with games against Wisconsin and Indiana looming.

The Boilermakers and Badgers have played 83 times in history, with the Badgers holding a 46-29-8 advantage.

Wisconsin vs. Purdue prediction:

Purdue doesn’t stand a chance. The Badgers greatest offensive weapon is the Boilermakers biggest weakness, the run game. Another thing that doesn’t bode well for Purdue? Wisconsin has one of the best scoring defenses in the country, allowing just 12.7 points per game.

Wisco big.
