Cowboys vs Cardinals Live NFL Hall of Fame Game 2017

Cowboys vs Cardinals Finally, the wait is over and the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals have been declared as the match up for the 2017 Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio.Watch, Free, 2017, Score, NFL, Football, Here Are Just Follow The Links Below

Cowboys vs Cardinals

The yearly game at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium kicks off the NFL preseason, in spite of the fact that in 2016 it was crossed out because of the unsuitable conditions of the field. The field was “hard as concrete” and hardened paint on the field moved towards becoming tar-like, constraining the cancellation, so it’s feasible that the NFL will do all that is important to stay away from a comparative embarrassment one year later.

Ordinarily, the Hall of Fame Game is played between teams that will have players accepted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Incorporated into the Class of 2017 are former Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner and current Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

Carson Palmer and Larry Fitzgerald both reported they will be back with the Cardinals for another season, yet don’t hope to see them or many different stars play much in the preseason opener. That implies even youthful players like Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott will probably stay sidelined for most, if not all, of the game.

Keeping players healthy through training camp and preseason is absolutely important, and playing in the Hall of Fame Game means both the Cardinals and Cowboys have an additional preseason game to maneuver carefully.

The Hall of Fame Game usually wraps up Enshrinement Weekend, yet this year it is booked for Thursday, Aug. 3. The Enshrinement Ceremony for the Class of 2017 will be two days after the fact on Saturday, Aug. 5.

Diehard fans of NFL nostalgia will love the way that both Kurt Warner and Isaac Bruce are incorporated into the current year’s rundown of finalists. The two were key cogs in the hostile juggernaut known as the Greatest Show on Turf.

Alongside wideouts Torry Holt and Az-Zahir Hakim—also running back Marshall Faulk—this offense ran roughshod over opposing defences from 1999 to 2001.

Warner’s story is particularly intriguing as a direct result of the previous Green Bay Packers castoff and arena football veteran’s course to NFL fame. He was embedded into the lineup after starter Trent Green was injured in 1999 and never thought back. He drove the Rams to two Super Bowls, winning one.

Warner likewise helped the Arizona Cardinals achieve the Super Bowl following the 2008 season. For a franchise that had never ever made such progress, even the resulting loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers represented to an outstanding accomplishment. This way, both of Warner’s career-defining campaign efforts were unexpected.

The Dallas Cowboys will face the Arizona Cardinals in an epic battle on Thursday, August 3, 2017, at the new Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.

Time: 8 PM ET

Date: 3rd August 2017

Venue: New Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio

The selection of teams makes a lot of sense, with the inclusion of former Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner and Cowboys owner and general chief Jerry Jones both set to be enshrined into the Hall.

The rest of the current year’s class incorporates running backs Terrell Davis and LaDainian Tomlinson, pass-rusher Jason Taylor, safety Kenny Easley and kicker Morten Andersen.

Interesting news is that the current year’s tilt will commence on Thursday for the first time in NFL history.

On Friday, August 4, the Hall will respect the Class of 2017 amid the Enshrinees’ Gold Jacket Dinner at the Canton Memorial Civic Center. At that point on Saturday, Aug. 5, the Class of 2017 will be formally enshrined into the Hall of Fame amid a nationally broadcast function at the stadium. Sunday’s festivals will incorporate the Enshrinees’ Roundtable and the yearly Concert for Legends.

It’s a schedule change that admirably puts the focus on the enshrinement ceremony and doesn’t hold up the Hall of Fame Game as the end of the week’s last occasion.

We’d like to reveal to you that quarterbacks Dak Prescott and Carson Palmer will go toe-to-toe in Canton, yet it’s more probable neither one of them will play. Both ought to be on the field when the Cowboys visit the Cardinals amid the general season.

Rose Bowl 2017 Live – Penn State vs USC Live

How to watch, live stream Penn State vs USC in Rose Bowl: Kickoff time, TV channel, It might not be a College Football Playoff game, but it’s still the Rose Bowl. The Granddaddy of Them All will hold its 103rd edition in the shadows of the San Gabriel Mountains as No. 5 Penn State (11-2) and No. 9 USC (9-3) square off.

The Rose Bowl is nothing new for USC, as this will be the 34th time the Trojans have played in the game, and when they’ve been there before, they’ve done quite well, going 24-9 in the first 33 games. The 34 appearances and 24 wins are far and away the most by any school in the country. On the flip side this will only be the fourth time Penn State has played in the game.

The last time Penn State made the trip to Pasadena was in 2008 when it lost to USC by a 38-24 score. That was also the last time these two teams met, and this game will be the 10th meeting between the schools. USC currently holds a 5-4 edge over the Nittany Lions.

Penn State: The Nittany Lions had higher hopes than this, there’s no getting around it. They won the Big Ten, which was widely considered to be the strongest conference in the country this year, yet they were not chosen for the College FootballPlayoff. Instead, an Ohio State team that Penn State beat during the regular season got the nod, as did the Pac-12 champion Washington Huskies.

Still, while the Nittany Lions have a legitimate beef, it’s hard to argue that a trip to Pasadena isn’t a great consolation prize.

Of course if the Nittany Lions want to send yet another message to the selection committee that they deserved a spot in the playoff, beating USC — a team the committee obviously had a lot of respect for — would do just that.

USC: It felt like the Trojans played two different seasons this year. There was the 1-3 start to the year that saw the Trojans losing games to Alabama, Stanford and Utah. Of the three losses, only the Utah loss came by less than one score. It really felt as though the 2016 season could be one that tumbled out of control and put Clay Helton — a hire that didn’t exactly inspire a ton of confidence in the USC faithful — on the hot seat right out of the gate.

But then things turned around.

The Trojans then reeled off eight straight wins, including an impressive win over Colorado, and an even more surprising win against Washington in Seattle. There were also blowout wins over Oregon, UCLA and Notre Dame to put finish off an impressive run that saw the Trojans climbing the rankings, and helped propel them ahead of Colorado to put them in the Rose Bowl.

A win over Penn State in the Rose Bowl would make sure the season ends on a high note, and would probably make sure that the Trojans begin the 2017 season ranked in the top 10 of the major polls.

Most intriguing story line: While at Boise State, Chris Petersen coached the Broncos to an unexpected win over Oklahoma in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl, the first of several upsets his team would score against brand-name schools. Now, in his third season at Washington, Petersen will be looking to deliver a similar shock to top-ranked Alabama in the College Football Playoff semifinal. Alabama has looked unbeatable this season while extending its winning streak to a nation-leading 25 games. These teams have one common opponent: USC. The Crimson Tide opened its season with a 52-6 demolition of the Trojans. The Huskies’ only loss was against a vastly improved USC team later in the season.

Alabama pass offense vs. Washington pass defense: Only one true freshman quarterback has led a major college team to a national championship: Jamelle Holloway of Oklahoma, in 1985. Alabama’s Jalen Hurts could become the second. A dual-threat, the 18-year-old Hurts has rushed for 841 yards and 12 touchdowns. For the Huskies to have any chance of slowing down the Crimson Tide, they will have to contain Hurts and turn him into a pocket passer. Doing so would force Hurts to challenge Washington’s star-studded secondary that includes standout safety Budda Baker. Washington has 19 interceptions and leads the nation in turnover ratio. The size and speed of the Huskies’ defensive backfield has prompted the Alabama coaching staff to compare the unit to that of the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks. Hurts could be under pressure from Huskies linebacker Psalm Wooching, who leads Washington with six sacks. Edge: Washington.

Alabama run offense vs. Washington run defense: Hurts, the Southeastern Conference offensive player of the year, has rushed for more yards in a season than any quarterback in school history. The Crimson Tide has a relentless ground attack, using a three-back rotation of Damien Harris, Joshua Jacobs and bruiser Bo Scarborough to wear down opposing defenses. Left tackle Cam Robinson won the Outland Trophy as the nation’s top interior lineman. Alabama led the SEC in scoring at 40.5 points per game. Injuries have depleted Washington’s front seven. The team’s best linebacker, Joe Mathis, was lost for the season after only seven games because of a foot injury. Leading tackler Azeem Victor is also out for the year because of a fractured leg. But Washington has size up front, including three defensive linemen who weigh more than 300 pounds. No team in the SEC started more than two 300 pounders. Edge: Alabama.

Washington pass offense vs. Alabama pass defense: Sophomore quarterback Jake Browning has passed for a school-record 42 touchdowns and is about as good a quarterback as Alabama has faced this season. The Pac-12 Conference offensive player of the year has choice targets in the dynamic John Ross (17 touchdown receptions) and Dante Pettis (14). However, Browning didn’t pass particularly well against top opposition. In the loss to USC, he completed a fewer than half of his passes. In the Pac-12 championship game against Colorado, he was only nine for 24. Alabama ranked second in the SEC in pass defense and has 45 sacks, fourth-best in the country. Defensive end Jonathan Allen has 8½ sacks and won the Bronko Nagurski Trophy as the best defensive player in the nation. Alabama’s defense has scored a nation-leading 10 touchdowns, including five on interception returns. Considering the Crimson Tide has conceded only three rushing touchdowns, the Huskies will have to do damage by passing if they are to have any hope of winning. Edge: Alabama.

Washington run offense vs. Alabama run defense: Alabama’s front seven is historically dominant. Alabama has the nation’s best run defense, allowing only 63.4 yards per game. Second is Wisconsin at 96.9 yards per game. Opponents have averaged 2.0 yards per carry against Alabama. Florida failed to do even that in the SEC championship game, which it finished with zero rushing yards. All-American linebacker Reuben Foster leads Alabama with 94 tackles, including 12 for losses. While Browning and Ross have headlined the Washington offense, the Huskies have a balanced attack, averaging 210.0 rushing yards per game. Sophomore running back Myles Gaskin has 1,339 yards and 10 touchdowns, while junior backup Lavon Coleman is averaging 7.8 yards per carry. Edge: Alabama.

Special teams: Alabama’s special teams have contributed four touchdowns, three on punt returns and another on a blocked field-goal attempt. Ross, Washington’s electrifying receiver, is a real threat on kickoffs, having returned four for touchdowns. Pettis has returned five punts for touchdowns in his career. Edge: Washington.

Dylan Hernandez’s pick: Petersen had time to prepare for this game. He probably has a trick play or two up his sleeve. That said, it’s hard to imagine Washington winning this game. Alabama should eventually wear the Huskies down and pull away for a relatively comfortable victory. Alabama 27, Washington 9.

In the 2005 Fiesta Bowl, Utah defeated the Pittsburgh Panthers 35–7, and in the 2009 Sugar Bowl, they defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide 31–17.During those seasons, Utah was a member of the Mountain West Conference, whose champion does not receive an automatic invitation to a BCS bowl. The Utes were the first team from a conference without an automatic bid to play in a BCS bowl game—colloquially known as being a BCS Buster—and the first BCS Buster to play in a second BCS Bowl.

The football team also has the distinction of being the all-time NCAA leader in 4th down conversions[citation needed]. They are one of two NCAA Division I teams to complete a 5th down conversion (the other being Cornell). This was a result of a mistake by the officials and happened on a play displayed by chaincrew as the 4th down.

The Alabama Crimson Tide football team represents the University of Alabama (variously Alabama, UA, or ‘Bama) in the sport of American football. The team competes in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC).The team is currently coached by Nick Saban. The Crimson Tide is among the most storied and decorated football programs in NCAA history. Since beginning play in 1892, the program recognizes 16 of the national championships awarded to the team, including 11 wire-service (AP or Coaches) national titles in the poll-era, the most of any current FBS program.[7] From 1958 to 1982, the team was led by Hall of Fame coach Paul “Bear” Bryant, who won six national championships with the program.[5] Despite numerous national and conference championships, it was not until 2009 that an Alabama player received a Heisman Trophy, when running back Mark Ingram became the university’s first winner. In 2015, Derrick Henry became the university’s second Heisman winner.

As of the completion of the 2015 season, Alabama has 864 official victories in NCAA Division I (an additional 21 victories were vacated and 8 victories and 1 tie were forfeited), has won 29 conference championships (4 Southern Conference and 25 SEC championships) and has made an NCAA-record 64 postseason bowl appearances. The Auburn Tigers football program represents Auburn University in the sport of American college football. Auburn competes in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC).

Auburn officially began competing in intercollegiate football in 1892. The Tigers joined the Southeastern Conference in 1932 as one of the inaugural members of the conference and the Tigers began competing in the West Division when the conference divided in 1992. Auburn officially claims two national championships, but has been recognized with five national championships from NCAA documented selectors. Auburn has achieved twelve undefeated seasons and won twelve conference championships, along with eight divisional championships. The Tigers have made thirty-eight post season bowl appearances; including ten historically major bowl berths.[3] The Tigers have the 12th most wins in FBS history with over 700 victories and have finished ranked in the Top 25 of either the AP or Coaches polls 37 times, including finishing in the top ten 18 times (ranked 12th nationally for top ten finishes).

The Tigers have produced three Heisman Trophy winners: quarterback Pat Sullivan in 1971, running back Bo Jackson in 1985, and quarterback Cam Newton in 2010. Auburn has also produced twenty-nine [4] consensus All-American players. The College Football Hall of Fame has inducted a total of 12 individuals from Auburn, including 8 student-athletes and four head coaches: John Heisman, Mike Donahue, Ralph Jordan, and Pat Dye. Ralph “Shug” Jordan, who coached from 1951 to 1975, led Auburn to its first national championship and won a total of 176 games, the most by any Auburn coach.

Auburn’s home stadium is Jordan–Hare Stadium, which opened in 1939 and becomes Alabama’s fifth largest city on gamedays with a capacity of 87,451. Auburn’s archrival is in-state foe Alabama. The Tigers and Crimson Tide meet annually in the Iron Bowl, one of the biggest rivalries in all of sports. The Tigers are currently led by head coach Gus Malzahn.

The Michigan–Ohio State football rivalry, known as The Game by some followers,is an American college football rivalry game played annually by the Wolverines of the University of Michigan and the Buckeyes of Ohio State University. It has attracted particular national interest over the last four decades as most of the games have determined the Big Ten Conference title and the resulting Rose Bowl match ups, and many have influenced the outcome of the national college football championship. The game was ranked by ESPN in 2000 as the greatest North American sports rivalry.

The two Midwest state schools first met in 1897, and the rivalry has been renewed annually since 1918. The game has been played at the end of the regular season since 1935 (with exceptions in 1942, 1986, and 1998). Since 1918, the game’s site has alternated between Columbus, Ohio, and Ann Arbor, Michigan (Michigan hosts it in odd years and Ohio State in even years), and has been played in Ohio Stadium since 1922 and Michigan Stadium since 1927. Through 2010, Ohio State and Michigan have decided the Big Ten Conference championship between themselves on 22 different occasions, and have affected the determination of the conference title an additional 27 times.

For many years, the game has aired on ABC, often in the 12 PM time slot.

Early years (1897–1949)
When the University of Michigan and Ohio State met for the first time in 1897, the Toledo War was within the memories of some still living, and the short-lived border war may have fueled the rivalry between the two opposing teams.[11] The inaugural game, held at Ann Arbor, resulted in a lopsided victory for Michigan, with the Wolverines posting a 34–0 win over Ohio State’s Buckeyes.[12] The teams did not meet in 1898 or 1899, but played again in 1900.

The first game foretold a long Michigan winning streak, with Michigan winning or tying every match from 1897 to 1912 and thereby compiling a 12–0–2 record before the contest was postponed for several years. The Ohio State Alma Mater “Carmen Ohio” was written on the train ride home to Columbus following the 1902 contest, which saw Ohio State losing to Michigan 86–0. The lyrics and melody (Spanish Chant) have remained largely unchanged since its conception.

Ohio State became a member of the Big Ten Conference in 1912. In 1917, Michigan rejoined the conference after a ten-year absence. In 1918, the teams played their first conference matchup, with Michigan prevailing 14–0 and lodging its eleventh shutout over the Buckeyes. The rivalry has been renewed annually every year since then. In 1919, the Buckeyes (led by legendary halfback Chic Harley) won their first game in the series, beating the Wolverines 13–3. The Buckeyes won the following two contests as well, to bring the series record to 13–3–2.
Ohio State was the opponent in the dedication game at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.
Harley’s prowess spurred the university to campaign to build a stadium for Ohio State football. The stadium was completed in 1922, and the first of many historic games in Ohio Stadium took place on October 21, 1922, the day the stadium was dedicated in Columbus. In front of a record 71,000 fans, the Wolverines posted another shutout of the home team Buckeyes, 19–0. According to lore, there was a wager on the outcome of this game, and yellow flowers on a blue background still exist today in the upper part of the stadium’s rotunda. Michigan won the next five games before OSU picked up the final two victories of the decade. At the end of the 1920s, the series stood at 19–5–2 in favor of Michigan.
A football signed by Woody Hayes and gifted to Gerald Ford that lists the scores of the Michigan–Ohio State game from 1932–34, the three years that Ford played on Michigan’s varsity team.
Michigan won three of four contests between 1930 and 1933, claiming the national championship twice. In 1934, Francis Schmidt came on as the head coach for Ohio State. The team had lost nine of the previous 12 Michigan-OSU contests, and when a reporter asked Schmidt if Ohio State could beat Michigan that year, he replied, “Of course we can win, Michigan puts their pants on one leg at a time just like we do”. The Buckeyes thereupon ran off four straight shutout victories against Michigan, outscoring the Wolverines 114–0 from 1934 to 1937. Schmidt’s quote spawned an OSU tradition—since 1934, every Ohio State player receives a gold pants pendant after a victory against Michigan.

Michigan won the three games from 1938 to 1940. The 1940 game, won by Michigan, 40–0, was the benchmark performance of what some consider to be the greatest Michigan team in history, and was the final collegiate game of the legendary tailback tandem of Tom Harmon and Paul Kromer.

In 1941, Michigan and Ohio State met for the first time with each team ranked in the AP Poll, which had started in 1936. The 14th-ranked Buckeyes played the 5th-ranked Wolverines to a 20–20 tie in Ann Arbor.

In 1945, Michigan quarterback Howard Yerges led Michigan to a 7-3 victory over Ohio State. Yerges played for Ohio State in 1943 as a freshmen (freshmen were eligible to play during wartime) and then transferred to Michigan in 1944 making one of three players to play on both sides in the rivalry. Five more times during the 1940s, the teams were both ranked for their annual matchup. Michigan won five of the next seven games before playing to their second tie of the decade in 1949. The series record stood at 30–12–4 at the mid-century mark.

“Snow Bowl” and Woody Hayes (1950–68)
One of the more famous games in the rivalry is the 1950 contest, colloquially known as the Snow Bowl. Eighth-ranked Ohio State, coached by Wes Fesler, was scheduled to host the game on November 25 in Columbus amidst one of the worst blizzards on Ohio record. The Buckeyes, who led the Big Ten, were granted the option to cancel the game against Michigan, which would have, by default, given the Buckeyes the Big Ten title outright. Ohio State refused, and the game was set to be played. Amid howling snow and wind, in a famous example of a “field position” game, the teams exchanged 45 punts, often on first down, in hopes that the other team would fumble the ball near or into their own end zone. Ohio State’s Vic Janowicz, who would claim the Heisman Trophy that year, punted 21 times for 685 yards and also kicked a field goal in the first quarter for the Buckeyes’ only points. Michigan capitalized on two blocked punts, booting one out of the back of the end zone for a safety and recovering another one in the end zone for a touchdown just before halftime. Despite failing to gain a single first down or complete a single forward pass, Michigan gained a 9–3 victory, securing the Big Ten title and a Rose Bowl berth. Heavy criticism of Fesler’s play calling led to his resignation and the hiring of Woody Hayes as his successor.

The Tigers moved only slightly backward from No. 2 after a tough home loss against Pitt, and they should still control their own postseason fate. With Louisville having completed ACC play, Saturday’s Clemson result at Wake Forest decides the ACC Atlantic. If the Tigers win, they’re in the league title game. And if they win that, they’re in the Playoff. It’s awfully simple.

So, Clemson has its work cut out for it. How much the Tigers win by against the Deacons doesn’t matter -€” only that they get it done and move forward. If they don’t, they will miss the Playoff, and an excellent season will have gone all the way into the toilet in just a week’s time. Assuming he goes pro, Deshaun Watson’s college career would be ending on a terrible note, no matter what happened in Clemson’s bowl game. It’s best for the Tigers that they don’t let that happen.

Three big things to know

1. Clemson’s defense needs to be significantly better. The Tigers’ front is young, and the secondary’s been shaky for much of the year. Pitt quarterback Nathan Peterman picked this group apart last week, but the passing D shouldn’t be a huge problem against a Wake Forest offense that can’t move the ball through the air. The Deacs aren’t especially good at running, either. What you get here is a pretty good chance for a defensive bounce back.

2. The Clemson offense has to cut mistakes. Watson is brilliant, but he threw three interceptions last week against Pitt, including an inexplicable one in the fourth quarter deep inside Pitt territory and with an eight-point lead. That led to the Tigers losing the game. Wake’s defense is solid all the way around, but it’s not good enough to beat Clemson unless the Tigers assist by beating themselves.

3. Louisville, of course, will watch with bated breath. If Clemson loses, the Cardinals are in the ACC title game, and they’d be favored to win such a game and advance to the Playoff. There’s some chance the Cardinals could get in anyway, but they’ve currently got their faces pressed up against the Playoff window. Another Clemson loss changes that in a hurry

What’s at stake

Clemson took a hit with the loss to Pitt, but winning this and the next two should send the Tigers to playoffs comfortably. A loss and they’re all but out as they cede the division to Louisville. Wake Forest has already exceeded expectations with bowl eligibility, and even hanging with Clemson would be a big step.

Three Story lines

1. Kind of a big deal. This game is simply the key to Clemson’s playoff hopes. Win and that dream lives on. Lose and the Cardinals slot into the driver’s seat. In the last year with Deshaun Watson and a lot of the stars on this roster, there’s urgency to make this run count.

2. Tough D to crack. Wake Forest possesses a pretty tough defense. That’s heavily built on strong play in the red zone and forcing turnovers. Some of the yardage totals look worse than they are because of facing several very good offenses.

3. Sling it less? Watson threw an astronomical 70 passes against Pitt and it highlights how the running game has struggled a lot. The offense has topped 5 yards a carry just twice this season, and that can leave the Tigers vulnerable with the load Watson has to carry.
